What this month-end close agent webinar is about
Your month-end close has two halves, and only one of them is really accounting.
The accounting half belongs to your team, and that means the reconciliations, the journal entries, the review, and the judgment about whether a number is right. Nobody sensible wants software making those calls, so the agent does not go near them.
The other half is the administrative process around it, and that runs the same way every month. First, restrict the period so preparation happens in a quiet system. Then check the FX rates are loaded, and confirm the account master data imported without rejected records. Open the period, track the tasks, and return it to restricted. Finally, lock it once two people have signed.
None of those steps is difficult. The control around them is. Somebody has to do each one in the right order, and somebody has to be able to prove, months later, that it happened. Today that proof is usually a spreadsheet and someone’s memory.
The PlaniFi Month-End Close Agent runs that second half inside SAP Analytics Cloud. It is the first of a new family of PlaniFi AI Agents.
What you will see
A live run, and not a slideware tour.
The boundary, stated first. So you see what the agent owns, and what stays with your team.
Four readiness proofs. FX rates loaded for the month, master data imported with no rejected records, version date properties pointing at the period being closed, and Carry Forward run. If one of them fails, then the period does not open at all.
Ten steps in one fixed order, and they run from the first period restriction through to the final two-signature lock, because a person still approves every step that matters.
Where it is fenced in. It works in your own tenant and your own objects, for example the data locking grid, the currency conversion table, the version date properties, your Carry Forward data action, and your approved calendar template. So there is no separate database, no copy of your data, and no credentials of its own.
An evidence log. Every action, timestamp, result and screen image is sealed in sequence as the work happens, and that produces a certification package a reviewer can independently re-check.
Who should attend
This one is for controllers, finance systems managers and SAP Analytics Cloud administrators who own the month-end close. It is also for internal audit teams, because they are the ones who have to evidence it afterwards.
So if your close depends on one person knowing the order of operations, then this session is about removing that dependency.
Why attend this month-end close agent session
Because the interesting question is not whether software can close your books. In fact it cannot, and it should not.
The interesting question is why the administrative process around the close is still run from memory, and why the evidence that it ran correctly is still assembled after the fact. So this session answers both in 30 minutes, with a live system and time for your questions.

Between them they build and run this with customers, so the session covers what actually happens on a real tenant, rather than what the slide says.
