***Classic Stories DEPRECATED***

The situation and why you need to act:

SAP is deprecating Classic Stories in phases during 2025. This might have huge impact on your reporting within SAP Analytics Cloud. Besides the fact that the Optimized Experience has countless reasons to be your first choice, you’re slowly running out of time.

The Classic Design Experience will still be available and provide access to features developed prior to Q2 2022. However, it will not receive any performance, functionality, or usability enhancements. There are also elements that will not be available at all in the Optimized Design Experience because there are more suitable substitutes.

Your time is quickly running out: as of early 2025 you will not be able to create new or duplicate unsupported assets! As of late 2025 you will not be able to access these assets!!!

• As of the 2024 Q4 QRC: new tenants that are created will NOT have access to the non-strategic features that were mentioned above. It means that Content Packages that have been created will fail to import assets that are unsupported.
• As of Early 2025 H1: existing customers cannot create new or duplicate unsupported assets. For these assets, customers will still be able to view, edit, and share. There will be a new configuration option for System Admins to setup up an auto deletion of assets that have not been viewed beyond a certain period.
• As of Late 2025 H2: you are no longer be able to access unsupported assets. You will need to migrate your content before the deadline.
