We have spent two years building AI for Data and EPM. SAP Business AI funding helps pay for the build.
SAP included SimpleFi in its Business AI funding program for Data and EPM use cases. That is exactly where we have been investing. So we are working with customers on those use cases now. You bring the process that’s slowing you down. We work out the “how” together. SAP Business AI funding then covers the build, up to €100,000 per approved engagement.
A real person reads every submission. We respond within one business day.
SAP Business AI funding is the easy part. This is the part that took two years.
We did not wait for a program to start building. So these use cases are already running with customers.
The month-end close agent
Not a checklist that flags exceptions. It runs the SACP close for you. That holds whether you are closing for reporting or standing up a forecast. We are also working with an AI partner on enterprise deployment.
Project Worker Bee
Our AI powered delivery approach. Agents now implement the baseline of any PlaniFi application. The applications already meant you were not starting from a blank page. But that groundwork still took time. Now your team’s time goes to the work that reflects how you actually run. We have started using this in customer implementations.
The planning and analytics agent
Plain language against your live SAC model. You type the change. It resolves dimensions and hierarchies, then rejects what the model will not take. It writes through the real API and hands back an auditable job ID.
Not a discount. SAP funds the build.
SAP Business AI funding exists because SAP wants customers to get real value out of SAP Business AI, not slideware and not another proof of concept that dies in a sandbox. So it put money behind partners to go build working agents on live customer processes. Here’s what that means in practice.
The build isn’t on your budget
SAP funds the approved adoption work. It isn’t a credit against your license and it isn’t a rebate you have to claim back. That is exactly why your budget cycle stops being the thing that decides whether this happens this year.
A working agent, in your landscape
The deliverable is a deployed agent or application in your SAP environment, with discovery output, a statement of work, testing evidence, your sign-off, and a 30/60/90-day adoption plan. A real thing your team uses, not a demo.
The window is finite
The incentive runs through December 31, 2026, and every nomination has to be scoped, approved and delivered inside it. Approvals sit with SAP, so the earlier a use case is in front of them, the better its odds.
Nearly every company has AI happening somewhere. Too rarely in finance.
Usually it’s a scatter of pilots with no strategy underneath: a lot of motion, not much moving. Meanwhile the planning and consolidation teams watch from the sidelines, running the close and the forecast the way they did five years ago. Imagine instead:
A close agent that checks the close before you do
It quietly runs your PlaniFi consolidation checks and tells you what needs attention before you go looking for it.
An agent you can just ask
Why did revenue drop against forecast in Q2 for the Western region?
and you
get a real answer back, not another report to wade through.
A budget agent you talk to in plain language
Bump headcount spend 4% in cost center 1200
, and it writes straight into your
plan.
A watchdog on the KPIs you care about
It keeps an eye on the numbers that matter and drafts a plan of action the moment one starts to drift.
We could keep going, but you get the idea, and that’s really the point. These are sparks, not a menu. The door is wide open. The teams who get the most out of this funding are the ones who come to us with a problem they’d love to solve, and we figure out the “how” together.
AI has to land in four places. Not a menu. A sequence.
A funded agent is the sharp end of it. But an agent nobody trusts, on a process nobody governs, is just a more expensive pilot. This is the order we work in.
AttestiFi, our AI enablement program, so your team can carry this after we leave.
SAP Business AI inside the process you already run, on a governed data foundation.
PlaniFi AI agents on the close, the consolidation and the forecast cycle.
AI-accelerated delivery. We did it to ourselves first, so the build moves faster.
Four packages. You can start at any of them.
SAP Business AI funding comes in four levels. The amounts below are maximums. SAP determines the actual funding based on approved scope. Scope itself is defined by you and us, together, before anything is submitted.
Activate an existing SAP AI agent or assistant in one domain. The fastest path to a live, funded result, and useful when you want proof before you commit.
A partner-built custom agent on Joule Studio or SAP Build, or a workflow / pro-code application, designed around your process, not a generic template.
A custom agent and a workflow or pro-code application. Deeper integration, and the point at which the business impact becomes measurable.
Three or more custom agents plus a pro-code application and workflows. Maximum funding, for teams ready to make this a capability rather than a one-off.
Amounts are set by SAP in euros and are maximums, not guarantees. SAP approves the actual amount for each engagement based on scope and eligibility, and all approvals are at SAP’s sole discretion. SimpleFi cannot commit funding on SAP’s behalf.
Five steps. And you are not doing any of them alone.
From first conversation to a working agent, this is how SAP Business AI funding actually gets approved. One of these steps runs through SAP rather than through us. We’d rather you know that up front than find out at step three.
Find it SimpleFi + you
Thirty minutes, no deck. We work out which use case has a real business payoff and a strong chance of SAP approval. Those aren’t always the same thing, and knowing the difference is most of the value we add here.
Frame it SimpleFi + you
We size the right package, prepare the statement of work and the discovery output, and work alongside your SAP account team to build a nomination that stands up to review.
Submit it SimpleFi + SAP
We build the nomination together with your SAP account team: the use case, the business case, the scope and the paperwork. The program requires an SAP employee to file it, so we work alongside them to get it submitted in the shape SAP’s internal steering group wants to see. You are not left to navigate that on your own.
Build it SimpleFi
We deliver a working agent or application in your SAP landscape: configured environment, developed agent, testing evidence, your sign-off, deployment, enablement materials and a 30/60/90-day success plan.
Make it stick SimpleFi + you
Enablement materials, training and a 30/60/90-day success plan, so the agent survives its first month-end and your team can extend it without us. Then we look at what to point the next one at.
Eligibility, in plain terms
- The program is live now and runs through December 31, 2026.
- Open to existing SAP customers and to customers new to the SAP Business AI Platform.
- Available to commercial customers in the Enterprise and Corporate segments.
- Public sector and government entities are not eligible.
- Covers both SAP Build and Joule Studio, so there is no need to wait for Joule Studio GA.
- Nominations are submitted by an SAP employee, so your SAP account team is involved early.
- A customer consent form for usage metering is part of the nomination, and we’ll walk you through it.
- Every approval and funding decision is at SAP’s sole discretion.
Plenty of partners can build an agent. We start from your close calendar.
One office: the CFO’s
SimpleFi is an SAP Gold Partner built around planning, consolidation, close and reporting, on SAP Analytics Cloud and in our PlaniFi application suite. When the conversation turns to agents, we’re not starting from a generic ERP use case. We’re starting from your forecast cycle.
We’ve been at this a while
We’ve been building our own AI expertise, training programs and tools well before the current wave of hype. We work across SAP Build and Joule as well as other AI tools, which gives us room to build the right thing rather than the available thing.
It shouldn’t stop at project one
We run AttestiFi, our AI enablement program, so your team builds the confidence to keep going on their own. A funded first agent is worth a lot more when the second one doesn’t need us.
To be clear about the boundary: we can guide you through the process and prepare a strong nomination, but SAP makes every final decision on SAP Business AI funding. Our job is to give your use case the best possible shot.
Tell us what’s slowing you down.
Not what you want to buy. What’s frustrating. The close step that always slips. The question nobody can answer without three days of work. That’s the right starting point, and it’s a better use of thirty minutes than any slide we could show you.
Send it over and we’ll tell you honestly whether it fits the program, what level it likely maps to, and what the next step looks like.

The honest FAQ
What exactly is this program?
Formally, the SAP Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive, which is SAP Business AI funding for partner-delivered work. SAP has invested €100 million in partners to help customers actually adopt Business AI by building agents, apps and workflows on SAP Build and Joule Studio against real customer use cases. It runs through the end of 2026.
Does the money come to us?
No. SAP funds the approved partner-led work and pays SimpleFi directly against delivery milestones. What you get is the delivered agent or application, plus the enablement around it, without that work having to compete for room in your budget.
Do we have to be an SAP Business AI Platform customer already?
Not necessarily. The program is open to existing SAP customers and to customers who are new to the SAP Business AI Platform. If you’re in the second group, there are subscription conditions attached, and we’ll walk through what applies to you before anything is submitted.
Who actually submits the nomination?
An SAP employee does. That’s how the program is designed. Partners can nominate, but those slots are limited, so the strongest path is to bring your SAP account team in early with us alongside you. An SAP internal steering group then reviews and approves.
How long does the delivery take?
These are deliberately scoped as fast engagements. The whole design of the program is to get something live rather than to run a multi-year build. Exact timelines are set in the statement of work and governed by SAP’s program terms, so we’ll give you a real date once we’ve scoped the use case rather than a number off a webpage.
Can we combine this with other SAP funding?
Program funding rules limit how incentives can be combined for the same deliverable. If you have other SAP-funded work in flight, tell us early, and we’ll check it against the program terms before we shape a nomination around it.
Is our data or our process exposed to anything unusual?
The build happens in your SAP landscape under your governance. The program does require a customer consent form covering usage metering as part of the nomination, and we’ll show it to you well before anything gets signed.
Why should we do this with SimpleFi rather than a bigger SI?
Because the hard part isn’t building an agent. It’s knowing which finance process is worth pointing one at. We’re an SAP Gold Partner that works almost exclusively in the office of the CFO: planning, consolidation, close and reporting on SAP Analytics Cloud and PlaniFi. That’s the difference between an agent that demos well and one your controller actually opens on day four of the close.
What if we’re not sure we have a use case?
Then you’re exactly who this conversation is for. Come with the thing that’s annoying you, not a solution. We’d genuinely rather start with what’s slowing you down than walk you through slides.
The funding window closes with 2026. The conversation takes thirty minutes.
