Modern data management with SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud. A live look at where enterprise data management stands in 2026, hosted by Jason Reid.

What this enterprise data management webinar is about
Most enterprises don’t have an AI problem. They have an enterprise data management problem that AI has made impossible to ignore.
Aging SAP BW and BusinessObjects estates, extracts duplicated across half a dozen tools, reporting definitions that quietly disagree. As a result, every new initiative inherits that debt.
The answer is not another copy of the data. Instead, it is a governed semantic layer: business meaning held once, alongside the numbers, rather than rebuilt in every downstream tool. The SAP Knowledge Graph extends that further, carrying the relationships between business objects so people and AI agents alike can navigate the data the way the organization is actually structured.
SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud bring this together with harmonized data products and unified governance across SAP and non-SAP sources. In short, that is the foundation analytics can be defended on, and the business context AI genuinely requires.
The use cases we will walk through
Low-risk start: a model and catalog documentation assistant. Generative AI drafts business descriptions, lineage explanations and impact summaries for Datasphere entities. Internal-facing, with no customer exposure. A sensible first step while AI governance is still being settled.
Measurable ROI: a collections and DSO agent. Datasphere blends receivables from S/4HANA with payment behavior and external credit signals. An agent prioritizes accounts and drafts the outreach, while SAP Build Process Automation carries the approval and the write-back. Success is measured in days of DSO, days sales outstanding.
Agentic: an exception-driven operational agent. Datasphere and SAP HANA Cloud surface anomalies in demand, inventory or spend. The agent explains the driver, proposes an action, and captures the approve-or-reject decision on a mobile screen built in SAP Build Apps.
Funding the first project
We will also cover the SAP Business AI Partner-Led Adoption Incentive, SAP’s 100 million euro AI Fund. It funds the build of a first agent or application rather than discounting it, so a pilot does not have to wait for the next budget cycle. Up to 100,000 euros per approved engagement, nominated through SAP account teams, open until December 31, 2026.
SimpleFi builds on this stack every week, and recently achieved the Expert Tier in the SAP Business Data Cloud Competency, so the guidance comes from delivery, not from slides.
Who should attend
Finance and IT leaders evaluating their data strategy together. Analytics and data platform owners living with a BW or BusinessObjects estate. And anyone who has watched two dashboards disagree about the same number in the same meeting.
Why attend this enterprise data management session
Because every AI initiative is a data initiative first, and enterprise data management is where trust in the numbers is either built once or rebuilt forever. Thirty minutes, live, with time for questions.
